Congratulations to NUS Mechanical Engineering Assistant Professor Tan Yu Jun on receiving the <\/span>Materials Research Society (MRS) Postdoctoral Award<\/a><\/strong>!<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Tan was selected for her work in “developing stretchable, self-healing materials for smart electronics”.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is the first time that a faculty from an Asian university has received the MRS Postdoctoral Award.<\/p>\n

The award recognizes postdoctoral scholars who show exceptional promise that may include, for example, excellence in scientific research, leadership, advocacy, outreach, or teaching, during their postdoctoral assignment. The award consists of a $2,000 cash prize, award trophy, citation certificate, complimentary meeting registration to attend the 2021 Virtual MRS Spring Meeting and a one-year MRS membership.<\/p>\n
