The programme supports outstanding early-career researchers working on interdisciplinary solutions for the global energy transition and is hosted by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sustainability.stanford.edu\/\">Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/energy.stanford.edu\/\">Precourt Institute for Energy<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dr He Shan(Class of 2025) research topic was on atmospheric water harvesting during his\u00a0joint PhD at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and NUS Materials Science and Engineering.\u00a0At Stanford, he will focus on developing moisture heat pumps\u00a0\u2013 an emergent technology designed to extract moisture and release heat\u00a0offering the\u00a0possibility\u00a0of\u00a0significantly\u00a0improved\u00a0efficiency\u00a0than conventional heat pumps.
