Although candidates with a good first degree and some practical working experience are usually admitted, the above-mentioned are minimum requirements and do not guarantee admission.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates with other qualifications and achievements deemed to be suitably prepared for the programme of study may also be considered on a case-by-case basis<\/li>\n<li>Candidates are expected to be proficient in English, as it is the medium of instruction at NUS. The courses are designed to create graduates with questioning minds, particularly during the tutorials.<\/p>\n<p>This programme will help students tackle the sustainability challenge from a unique materials perspective, fostering innovation and adaptability. Of the 40 units, at least 32 units must be at graduate level within the subject or in a related discipline, the remaining units may be from other levels in the same or other disciplines as approved by the Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Continuation and Graduation Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At NUS, minimum standards are set for continuation in a programme of study and graduation.
