Through them, you gain perspectives on real-world issues while working on real-life projects alongside engineering practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>Typically in Year 3 Semester 2, you would embark on a compulsory* industrial attachment (IA) of at least 20 weeks. During your IA, you would be able read up to 2 technical electives in the evenings to fulfil your major requirements, or other evening courses to count as unrestricted elective subjected to companies&#8217; approval.<\/p>\n<p>Internship positions will be offered for your selection through an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nus-csm.symplicity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-outlook-id=\"05383b60-ba51-4376-83bd-fd8bd607991a\">online internship portal<\/a>.
