The semiconductor industry is a key pillar of Singapore&#8217;s manufacturing sector. GF is one of the world&#8217;s leading semiconductor manufacturers and the only one with a truly global footprint.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the visit was behind-the-scenes in the Fab where we toured the state-of-the-art cleanroom, not forgetting the career sharing session by NUS and NTU alumni as they shared their experiences as part of the GF family.<\/p>\n<p>It was an insightful visit with meaningful exchanges of experiences with GF! As I had no prior experience with the semiconductor industry, seeing the clean room and the tour of the fab gave me an idea of how the semiconductor fabrication procedure happened. Our guide also gave his unique insight on the process which we found to be very useful.
