14 faculty members have been named in the 2018 Highly Cited Researchers report published by Clarivate Analytics. They are among the 30 researchers from NUS who are in the 2018 report. Five of the 14 Faculty's researchers, listed in the 2017 report, are among the top again.
The annual list of Highly Cited Researchers acknowledges researchers with multiple papers ranking in the top one per cent by citations for their field and year. This year, a new cross-field category has been introduced to acknowledge researchers with substantial influence in several fields, breaking through the artificial walls of conventional disciplinary categories to keep the Highly Cited Researchers list contemporary and relevant.
