Associate Professor Praveen Linga from NUS Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering has been elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry for his contribution in the field of chemical sciences. The Royal Society of Chemistry is one of the oldest and most reputed professional bodies headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Associate Professor Linga is currently the Dean's Chair Associate Professor in NUS Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. His Linga Lab specialises in the area of clathrate or gas hydrates developing innovative technologies to strengthen energy-water nexus. Associate Professor Linga is championing three hydrate technologies for desalination, gas storage and data-centre cooling. He is a highly cited researcher in the field of engineering (Clarivate Analytics, 2018).
