Prof Hari Krishna Garg

Hari K Garg obtained his BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1981, followed by MEng and PhD degrees from Concordia University in 1983 and 1985, respectively, and an MBA from Syracuse University in 1995. He served as a faculty member at Syracuse University from 1985 to 1995. Since 1995, he has been affiliated with the National University of Singapore, except for a stint at Philips in 1998-1999. His research spans cellular/mobile/wireless communications, digital signal/image processing, coding theory, and digital watermarking, with extensive publications in these areas. He has co-authored several books on digital signal processing. Additionally, Hari is an active entrepreneur, having founded companies like PurpleAce, Fatte, and Manovega Communications in the mobile telephony sector.
