Chen Taihan is a PhD student in Urban Climate Design Lab, Department of Architecture. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University.
His research interests include urban planning, urban microclimate improvement and sustainable cities. He worked on the street airflow pattern, pollutant dispersion, urban thermal environment and human thermal comfort. At present, he is using field measurement and model simulation to quantitatively assess the impacts of urban greening on urban thermal environments.
