Wang Wenqing is a Ph.D. candidate in Landscape Architecture at Beijing Forestry University. Her research interests include outdoor thermal comfort for the elderly, outdoor behavior, and environmental psychology.
Her research focuses on exploring the relationship between urban outdoor public space design, outdoor activities of the elderly, and the urban thermal environment. Recently, she has been focusing on developing machine learning models to investigate and quantify the impacts of the environment and its perception on the health of the elderly. She is committed to integrating the subjective psychological perception of the elderly with objective physical environment assessment, aiming to create comfortable and safe urban outdoor public spaces.
