He Lai is a research assistant in Prof. Yuan Chao’s group at Department of Architecture (DoA), NUS.
Prior to joining in DoA, he acquired Bachelor degree in New Energy Material and Device from Soochow University and Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUS. Moreover, he worked as a research assistant on AI for Combustion Modelling in Mechanical Engineering, NUS.
During present period, he focuses on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for urban wind. The ongoing simulations are based on Large Eddy Simulation (LES), and the effects of trees might be involved as porous areas in computational domains.
