Gigih R. Setyantho

Gigih R. Setyantho is a Ph.D. student in the School of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at Korea University, under the supervision of Prof. Yeonsook Heo. He is currently visiting the UCDL lab of Prof. Chao Yuan at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as part of an international research collaboration. His research focuses on urban microclimate modeling and urban canopy parameterization, particularly on improving urban wind speed prediction through calibrated models that account for uncertainties in the model and the complexity of urban form. This work aims to contribute to a better understanding of urban wind behavior and to support the evaluation of climate-sensitive urban design and planning strategies.
