Han Dongliang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Design and Environment (SDE), National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his Ph.D. from the School of Architecture at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His research focuses on urban microclimate and its interactions with the built environment, with particular emphasis on the influencing factors of microclimate in urban open spaces across multiple spatial scales. By analyzing key microclimatic variables such as air temperature, humidity, and wind dynamics, his work aims to develop climate-responsive architectural and urban design strategies that enhance energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and environmental sustainability. His research contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between urban microclimates and the built environment, providing scientific insights for the design of healthier and more livable cities.
