I’ve completed my Ph.D. at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore on the topic” Study on Stall Delay Phenomenon and the effect of Atmospheric Boundary Layer on the Wake Characteristics of NREL Phase VI Wind Turbine”. I received my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in July 2010.

I’m presently acting as a Consultant (CFD modelling for various water works and DSP application for Active Noise Cancellation) in a private consultancy and previously worked as an Executive Engineer (CFD modelling for fire and ESD)in Singapore. I worked as a Research Assistant (Thermal comfort and IAQ) on a short-term project (6 months) titled “Performance Analysis of Wind Tower in enhancing indoor and outdoor thermal comfort in Oman”.

On the academic front, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in May 2008 from Anna University, India with an aggregate of 83%. In 2008, I appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) exam “An Exam for grading the engineers in India” and had scored 93.94 percentile. In NUS, I had CAP (CGPA) of 3.75 out of 5. Currently, in NTU, I have a CGPA of 4.25 out of 5.

On the research front, I have four journal papers. The 1st journal published in Energy journal and 2nd published in Renewable Energy while 3rd under review in a reputed journal (all three are part of my Ph.D.) and 4th published in International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Research (2nd author, part of my work as RA in Oman). In addition, my work has been presented in five International conferences.

The main areas of focus in my graduate studies at NUS & NTU have been Fluid Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Thermal Engineering and Finite Element Analysis. I hold experience in ANSYS FLUENT, ANSYS CFX, OpenFOAM, ANSYS ICEM, Solidworks, PyroSIM, FDS, C and UDF programming, Tecplot and MATLAB.
