TU Ruoxiang

Ruoxiang Tu is a Ph.D. candidate at South China University of Technology (SCUT), China. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from South China Agricultural University (SCAU), China.
His research focuses on empirical studies of restorative urban spaces, environmental psychology, urban microclimate, and walking environments and behaviors, with the aim of promoting urban public mental health. His current work integrates multiple physical environmental exposures to examine pedestrians’ physiological and psychological restorative responses, and to further evaluate the restorative potential of urban walking environments.
