Yuxuan Yao is currently a Research Assistant in Prof. Yuan’s research team. With academic training in Architecture and Urban Design, his research interests include green infrastructure, transit-oriented development (TOD), urban microclimates, and climate-sensitive urban design. Since joining Prof. Yuan’s research team, he has been involved in environmental simulation and spatial analysis projects, focusing on ENVI-met microclimate modelling and GIS-based spatial analysis. Recently, his research has focused on evaluating green infrastructure performance, thermal comfort, and climate-sensitive design strategies in high-density urban environments.
