Launch of Face Recognition System
The Face Recognition System at the Deanā€™s Office was implemented on 31 January. This system simulates human capability to recognise human faces and verify a personā€™s identity. Staff can now access the three door entrances by simply scanning their faces in front of the FR devices, eliminating the need to retrieve our staff cards. The real-life application of artificial intelligence (AI) demonstrates the practicality of harnessing cutting-edge technology to enhance our daily lives.
