Ms Wong Foong Foong, Alicia
Associate Director, Department of Architecture
Alicia was Associate Director in NUS Global Relations Office until 23 October 2023, when she joined the Department of Architecture as its Administrative Team Lead. Before that, she was with the Faculty of Engineering for 13Ā½ years, followed by the Office of the President for four years. Alicia will assist the department in overseeing academic matters, student services, marketing, and admission, as well as office administration.
Ms Vhaishnavi D/O V Selvarajah
Senior Executive, Department of Architecture
Vhaishnavi brings with her years of experience in the educational industry. She will support the Bachelor of Architecture (Year 4) and Master of Architecture programmes, as well as student administration-related matters.
Ms Chew Bee Keow, Valerie
Assistant Manager, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Valerie brings a wealth of expertise, having previously worked at the Prime Minister's Office and A*STAR. In her new position, Valerie will be responsible for managing administrative tasks related to the Departmentā€™s finance and research activities. In her free time, Valerie finds solace in the art of crocheting, a craft that provides her with relaxation and enjoyment.
Mdm Hoon Lang
Management Assistant Officer, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Hoon Lang assists with the Departmentā€™s operations and marketing matters. Hoon Lang brings valuable experience in administration and project management from her previous stints at SCORE and Yellow Ribbon. Hoon Lang enjoys connecting with others, exploring new destinations through travel, and indulging in a diverse range of culinary experiences. Her amicable personality and experiences make her a valuable addition to the dynamic teams at E6NanoFab and SHINE.
Ms Tan Hui Lee Brenda
Faculty Finance Lead, Deanā€™s Office
Prior to joining NUS, Brendaā€™s roles spanned across the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the National Council of Social Service, where she championed the budget agenda. As the Senior Assistant Director leading budgets at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, she was a valued business partner who provided strategic advice as well as transformed operational processes. In the earlier years of her career, Brenda had varied roles with the Land Transport Authority, Singapore Airlines, United Overseas Bank and MSD (subsidiary of Merck & Co.), building both depth and breadth in her skill sets. Brenda obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from NUS.
Ms Loke Yan Holly
Assistant Manager, Office of Student Life, Dean's Office
Holly supports the Office of Student Life in managing internship programmes, as well as college life events and activities. Prior to her current position, she had worked as a career advisor who provided students with guidance on employability and career-related matters.

We would like to express our gratitude to Mr Rajamohan with our heartfelt thanks! Having served in NUS since 1977, he weathered many different periods and challenges together with the University, supporting his peers, guiding younger colleagues, welcoming newcomers to the department, and assisting researchers professionally with his experience and expertise on SEM analysis and operations. His kind and open offers of friendship have solidified for many of us our sense of kinship to NUS, and we would like to wish him fruitful days ahead, even after retirement!
Miss Chia Meow Leng, Management Assistant Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Ms Chia Meow Leng for her decades of service and congratulate her on her well-deserved retirement. Faculty Other Appointments
Adjunct Professor Choo Yoo Sang (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) received his appointment certificate as the Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University on 16 October 2023. His appointment will be from July 2022 for a term of 3 years.
