Inordinary Stationery exists in a world where circles are sacred and not permitted to be man-made. To replace the circles present, stationery mechanisms are given a new twist.

To make our stationery feel more familiar, we decided adopt a Supernormal concept, which would be a  popular bookstore equivalent in this world. 
Tape is dispensed using a turning mechanism, pencil sharpener shaves in a linear motion, and a ‘v’ mechanism for the pivoting of scissors blades.

We first prototyped with cardboard and art card to tangibilize our ideas. For our more high fidelity prototypes, we then moved onto using coloured plastic sheets to test out the effects of different transparencies.
