By using open data and personal data, Data for Dengue is a public service system that allows residents to assess their personal risk of getting dengue. Location, geographical and medical history are some of the data manipulated. Data visualisation is carefully designed to maintain longevity of the concept.

A dengue risk assessment can be completed at community centres or polyclinics raising dengue relevance to each user.

A digital risk calendar is accessible via a web-app allowing users to track the changes in their dengue risk daily.

Interviews with epidemiology experts were conducted to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the concept. Interviews also provided feedback from industry experts allowing the concept to progress.

Through continuous and extensive user interviews and user testing, the user experience and user interface was reiterated and refined throughout the execution of the concept.
