FAQ

Graduate phase

Students will be awarded the B.Eng. degree at the end of 3 years if they have fulfilled all programme requirements. If E-Scholars have a good reason not to pursue graduate studies, there will be no penalty.

The E-Scholars scholarship will cover tuition fees for any M.Sc (Master of Science) & M.Eng (Master of Engineering) degree in NUS engineering departments for one year.

Yes, but M. Eng degrees normally take 2 years to complete. E-Scholars can still enrol, but the scholarship will end after their first year (3 years undergraduate plus 1 year of Master). Students will then need to find alternative means to fund their second year of Master.

Yes. However, the scholarship will not cover such case and the scholarship will be terminated when the student leaves NUS. The E-Scholars office will be glad to provide administrative assistance in the form of reference letters to E-Scholars who wish to pursue a Master's overseas.
