SUB-NAMES OF Class of 1976 Engineering Bursary
The NUS Class of 1976 Engineering Committee, chaired by NUS Faculty of Engineering alumnus Mr Leong Yue Wing, was formed in 2011. Through the class reunion fundraising campaign, it has successfully raised monies to support an endowed bursary for financially disadvantaged engineering students. Thanks to this initiative, the Class has realised its aspiration to help nurture a spirit of adventure and passion to make a difference among students from their Faculty. Today, the Committee continues to organise regular gatherings for classmates and raise funds for the Bursary. The Bursary benefits about 40 students yearly.
