Celebrating women in engineering – Materials Science and Engineering

NUS Engineering organised the “Women in NUS Engineering” event on Wednesday, September 8^th, a hybrid live and online webinar event that brought together several of our most distinguished Engineering alumni to share their experiences with fellow alumni, NUS staff and students.

Guest of Honour Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development (Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award Winner) gave the keynote speech opening the event.

This was followed by sharing of personal stories and a panel discussion featuring outstanding women alumni:

Ms Eng Se-Hsieng, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, Skylab Services Pte Ltd (Outstanding Engineering Young Alumni Award Winner)

The event was held in support of 2021 as the Year of Celebrating SG Women.
