SGUnited Doctorate Apprentice (STEM) (12 months)
This position reports to Professor Ding Jun for research work in the Additive Manufacturing Lab from Materials Science & Engineering, NUS. The main responsibility of the applicant will be investigations and development novel functional materials and structures via extrusion-based 3D printing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the Extrusion Based 3D printer (Allevi2, RegenHu 3DDiscovery™ Evolution)
- 3D modelling via AutoDesk Fusion 360
- Managing the laboratory, including safety administration, chemical purchase and chemical waste disposal
- Data analysis and summary for reporting to the supervisor
- Conducting research leading to scientific publications

Qualifications:
- Material Science & Engineering PhD
- Background in materials science, competency in 3D printing and associated software skills
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills
