Dr. Lee Wee Siang Vincent joined the Department of Materials Science & Engineering as a Lecturer in August 2021. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science & Engineering at National University of Singapore in 2016, and his research focuses on the fabrication of materials for energy storage devices, e.g., zinc-ion battery, lithium-ion battery, supercapacitor, water splitting, etc. He has been teaching undergraduate course in Materials Science & Engineering since 2019, which primarily focused on laboratory-based modules. He has adopted an integrative and inquiry-based pedagogy in laboratory-based modules, and it has triggered the interest and encouraged undergraduates to enter into the research field.
