Dr. Bofan Li obtained her B.Eng. (2016) and Ph.D. (2021) in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore. Dr. Li leads multiple research projects supported by the Individual Research Grant (IRG), Young Individual Research Grant (YIRG), ASTAR’s GAP programme, and the Career Development Fund (CDF). She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, achieving a Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) of 2.3.

Research Interests

Dr. Bofan Li leads the Sustainable Membrane Lab to pioneer sustainable membranes and separation technologies for water purification and organic solvent separations, with the vision of transforming the membrane industry toward a circular, low-impact model that supports a more resilient and sustainable future for clean water, waste treatment and chemical processing.
