Research Interests

  1. Corrosion mechanisms and concepts (specifically related to tropical atmospheric conditions compared to other environmental conditions).
  2. Methodologies and protocols for corrosion investigations and assessments.
  3. Corrosion protection strategies (materials and design selection, advanced coatings, inhibitors etc).

My research interests include corrosion mechanisms of metals and alloys related to different atmospheric conditions and also related to various industrial applications, corrosion characterisation and evaluation, and development of new test methodologies with reliable assessment criteria. My interests also extends to corrosion protection solutions which I work together with other experts in relevant areas, e.g. advanced coatings, designs etc
