Graduates from NUS Engineering continued to enjoy strong employment rates and earned higher starting salaries in 2019, according to the Joint Autonomous Universities Graduate Employment Survey (JAUGES) 2019.
Graduates from four NUS Engineering programmes; namely, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, as well as Materials Science and Engineering, saw their gross monthly median starting salary hit $4,000. Close behind are graduates from Chemical Engineering, with gross monthly median starting salary of $3,950.
Overall, engineering graduates in Singapore commanded above average starting salaries, second only to graduates from information and digital technologies.
