CFI Singapore is a multi-institutional research institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS), with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) as partner institutes. This community will grow to include international institutions as well as industry partners. CFI Singapore's core research is aligned along two horizontal domain areas that aim to generate new knowledge in coastal sciences and develop tools for monitoring and prediction of the coastal environment, and two vertical domain areas that will develop innovative engineering and integrated nature-based solutions for coastal protection and flood management.
