The NUS Chemical Engineering Students’ Society (ChESS) is a Registered Society within NUS composing passionate Chemical Engineering undergraduates. The society, registered since 1994, continues to bridge current ChE undergraduates with the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and relevant industries. Through collaboration with industry partners, the community and by organizing events, ChESS also aims to enhance the vibrancy of student life in NUS and provide its members with a holistic university experience.
Supported by industry partners and the chemical engineering undergraduates, ChESS continues to organise key events such as the annual Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC), Project CHEWAY (Overseas CIP), Chem-E Challenge, industrial visits/talks, student welfare events, Local CIPs and fundraising initiatives.
