The NUS Engineering Alumni Awards Ceremony was held on 2 December at the NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House to commemorate the achievements of our illustrious alumni.
The Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award (DEAA) was instituted in 1989 and is conferred on NUS Engineering alumni who have distinguished themselves nationally or internationally through excellent and sustained contributions and achievements in public and community service, entrepreneurship, in a professional or scholarly field. Similarly, the Outstanding Engineering Young Alumni Award (OEYAA) is conferred on young NUS Engineering alumni who have distinguished themselves nationally or internationally through excellent and sustained contributions and achievements in public and community service, in a professional or scholarly field.

Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award
Mr Vincent Chong Sy Feng, Group President & CEO of ST Engineering, received his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from NUS in 1994.
Professor Er Meng Hwa, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NTU, received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from NUS in 1981.
Outstanding Engineering Young Alumni Award
Er. Kwa Chin Soon, Deputy Director of Land Transport Authority, received his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Class from NUS in 2010.
Mr Moh Wei Qun Raymond, CEO and Co-founder of Hanalytics Pte Ltd, received his Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Bachelor of Business Administration Double Degree Program from NUS in 2013.
