Pre-University Engagement

CDE offers research attachments for strongly motivated students with passion for engineering or design to deepen their knowledge in their area of interest. Through this attachment, students can gain first-hand experience working with faculty members and professors from CDE, have the opportunity to work in a lab environment and take part in ongoing research from CDE. 

 The objectives of the attachment include: 

• exposure of students to lab environment 
• learn basic research skills and communications  
• hands-on opportunity to CDE research activities

Note: 

• Internship is subjected to availability of the hosts in the area of interest indicated.  
• Form to be submitted by teacher-in-charge only.
• Internship requests from the school should be made at least 2 months prior to intended start date of internship.
• Internships are conducted in English and duration is flexible to the school’s preference.
