What You Will Learn
Participants should be able to understand what needs to be coordinated and integrated, while incorporating design, to ensure that the project is properly planned, executed and controlled. It includes project management processes, risk & procurement, human resources, communications, ethics and professional conduct. Each topic will include emphasis on how design can impact the various processes at different stages.

Assoc Professor Daniel Wong
Associate Professor Daniel Wong Hwee Boon is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Building. He serves as Deputy Head (Admin & Finance) in NUS’s Department of Building, where he also chairs the Safety & Health Committee and represents the Building Estate Management Alumni. His research interests include SMART Facilities Management, strategic planning, FM Contracts, and Management Information Systems. In the private sector, A/P Wong contributed to major projects like a premier waterfront development in Singapore, a large mixed-use development in the UAE, and an international industrial park in Vietnam. He has received the PAQS Service Excellence Award and the SPRING Excellent Service Gold Award.
