Dr Subramanian Krishnan

Vice President, NAND Technology Integration, Micron Technology

Krishnan is Micron’s Corporate vice president of NAND Technology Integration and leads a global team developing and deploying best-in-class NAND technology while driving best-in-class performance.

Based out of Singapore, Krishnan has more than three decades of experience in process engineering and process/device integration in the semiconductor industry. He has served in various senior leadership positions across manufacturing and research and development (R&D). In 2012, Krishnan took up the challenge of setting up an R&D team in Singapore and has since grown the team to 100+ team members who have successfully delivered 5 successive generations of Vertical NAND technology to manufacturing. In 2019, he took on the additional responsibility of leading the R&D process integration team in USA too and in 2024, he took on the role of pathfinding efforts in NAND development located across USA, Japan and Italy. Krishnan is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has published multiple technical papers and holds several patents.

Krishnan is a male ally in the Micron Women’s Leadership Network and plays an active role on its steering committee. He has been active in mentoring team members and managers at Micron, many of whom have since advanced to senior and executive leadership roles within both Micron and the broader semiconductor industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. Krishnan’s hobbies include listening and performing Indian classic music, systematic reading and sharing of spiritual literature and corporate leadership counseling.
