As an experienced architect with over 30 years of experience, Ar Tan Shao Yen strongly believes in integrating expertise, fostering teamwork, and leveraging design to provide innovative and holistic solutions.

As the President and Group Chief Executive Officer, Shao Yen leads CPG Corporation in fostering innovation and collaboration. He has developed extensive experience across various capabilities, designing and delivering projects across diverse typologies in both the public and private sectors, including Singapore, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. By harnessing diverse expertise across the CPG group of companies — from professional services and project management to facilities management — he enables the development of CPG’s bespoke integrated solutions to deliver value to clients. He also fosters strategic international partnerships to drive the corporation’s global expansion and optimise its business strategies, with a strong focus on sustainability, resilience, and technology.

Actively engaged in the built environment industry beyond leading CPG’s initiatives, Shao Yen served as President of Singapore's Board of Architects for six years from 2016 to 2021.
