About the Event

Did you know? Every year, over 1,200 undergraduates from the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) apply for financial aid. Despite support from the government, many of our financially disadvantaged students still struggle with the stress of their financial difficulties in addition to their academic challenges.

At CDE, we believe in providing every student the opportunity for a comprehensive and memorable educational journey, regardless of financial circumstance. That is why we are fundraising as a College for bursaries in CDE, providing essential support to undergraduates in need. Our campaign will culminate in a day of golf at the Charity Golf 2025, happening on Wednesday, 16 July 2025 at the Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong Course.

You can play a part in this first-ever College-wide first fundraising event across all departments since its formation in 2022, following the merger of the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Design and Environment. Led by the CDE Office of Development and a group of alumni, the goal is to raise at least S$700,000 for bursaries supporting financially disadvantaged undergraduates in CDE.

We welcome all donations to support bursaries in CDE, with all proceeds going directly towards this cause. Donations will be endowed, ensuring their impact lasts in perpetuity. In addition, with a gift of at least $25,000, you can support an undergraduate in need yearly and in recognition of your gift, you will be offered a naming opportunity for a sub-named bursary under the newly established College of Design and Engineering Bursary, subject to University approval.

We look forward to your generous support to improve the lives of these students. Please feel free to contact Ms. Lynette Lai at lynettelai@nus.edu.sg if you need more information.
