Championing Giving Together: CCG Brainstorming Session 2026

Championing Giving Together: CCG Brainstorm Session 2026

On Wednesday, 8 April 2026, we brought together our Class Champions for a brainstorming session on how to take the Commencement Class Giving (CCG) Campaign to another level. Since 2007, this meaningful tradition has supported numerous students facing financial challenges. At its core lies a powerful belief: that even modest contributions, when pooled together as a collective effort, can create a lasting and transformative impact.

We are honoured to have one of our Top 3 Class Champions from 2025, Mageshkumar Kirubasankar (Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2025) at the session, where he shared his fundraising journey:

“I’ve been on the receiving end of financial aid and I remember how much it helped me. Now, it feels good to have an opportunity to give back to those who need the help like I did, and to keep the spirit of giving going.”

In recognition of his dedication and contributions, Sankar was presented with a prize as one of the Top 3 Class Champions. It is part of CDE’s commitment to recognising and celebrating the impact of our Class Champions. 👏

While the other Top Class Champions, Su Chenchu (Electrical Engineering, Class of 2025), and Loh Joo Hoe (Computer Engineering, Class of 2025), along with the rest of the Class Champions from the Class of 2025, were unable to join us for this session, their contributions are equally valued and appreciated.

Together, let’s keep the spirit of giving going 💙
