Dr Siah Soh Yun

Vice President, Technology Development and R&D, GlobalFoundries Singapore Pte Ltd

Dr Soh Yun Siah is the Technology Development Vice President at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, bringing over 27 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Since completing her PhD at the National University of Singapore in 1997, Dr Siah has held several senior technology development positions at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing and GLOBALFOUNDRIES.

Dr Siah leads the Technology Development group at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. She is responsible for executing the semiconductor technology roadmap, driving differentiated solutions and creating impact to the industry. Her career spans more than two decades in R&D within the semiconductor industry, where she has amassed extensive experience across various CMOS platforms (low power, high performance), embedded non-volatile memories (flash, MRAM), high voltage and power technologies (BCD, GaN), Radio-Frequency technologies (RF CMOS, RFSOI, SiGe HBT), MEMS, and more.

Dr Siah is also an active contributor to the academic community. She serves on the industry advisory boards of engineering schools at local universities, including the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). In this capacity, she supports industry-academia collaborations and helps guide their strategic direction.

Dr Siah has over 50 technical papers and more than 25 patents in semiconductor technology.
