The CDE Fundraiser comprising Er. Wong Jin Kok, Mr. Edwin Seow, Mr. Seah Cheng San and Mr. Yeo Keng Joon are recognised for their sustained and substantial contributions to College of Design and Engineering (CDE).

After the team established the first Bursary Fund with sub-name in Faculty of Engineering (i.e. the Engineering Class of 1982 Bursary Fund) in 2009, the team helped to establish 3 more bursary funds with sub-name under CDE. The funds are Faculty of Engineering Bursary Fund, Civil & Environment (CEE) Bursary Fund and the CDE Bursary Fund. Collectively, these 4 funds have raised in excess of $5.3 million in donations.

The team organised their first golf event in 2014, the NUS Engineering Charity Golf 2014 to raise fund for bursaries, raising $388,000. The team continued to help organise 5 more charity golf events, in May 2017, August 2021 (delayed from 2020 due to Covid), October 2022, September 2023 and July 2025. The total amount raised for bursaries from these 6 events is in excess of $5.09 million in donations.

The team efforts to establish and grow endowed bursaries that support financially needy students have not only enabled access to education for future generations but also strengthened alumni engagement and community spirit. Through their leadership, generosity and collaborative spirit, they have created a lasting legacy of giving and mentorship, making them most deserving of this recognition.
