The Class Ambassadors Programme was launched in 2008 to reach out to young alumni - especially new alumni from each graduating cohort. Class Ambassadors (CAs) are key connectors who ensure continual engagement between the class and Faculty, School, Hall or Residential College and the University after graduation.
Class Ambassadors are formally appointed by the University and represent the Faculty, School, Hall or Residential College. As active alumni representatives, Class Ambassadors receive exclusive invitations to attend signature NUS alumni events and enjoy a rewarding network of friends.
Role of
Class Ambassadors
The primary role of Class Ambassadors is to engage meaningfully with classmates and with alma mater. As active Class Ambassadors, you can:
- Engage classmates through social media postings. Set up a Facebook group for your class if you do not have one yet.
- Help connect your classmates to faculty alumni representatives and Alumni Groups. NUS has Overseas Chapters for alumni living abroad who want to keep in touch with fellow alumni.
- Encourage classmates to join you at NUS/CDE events such as the Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day and NUS Cares.
- Update your class about NUS news, events and happenings. Subscribe to our monthly e-newsletters and quarterly e-magazines, and like “NUS Alumni” on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Inform NUS/CDE Alumni Relations about your classmates' achievements so they can be recognised.
- Check out the latest alumni privileges and share the best deals with your class.
- Organise an exciting class reunion!
If you would like to do more, contribute your time and talent to NUS/CDE. You can lead or join an Alumni Group, be a mentor to current students, as well as speak or perform at alumni events.
