LAD1005 Design 2
This module is the second of two core studios introducing students to basic design principles critical to the discipline. It focuses on the interface between people and nature to examine compositions, functions, and systems of landscape elements through precedent analyses and site observations. The module will foster student’s critical eye on identifying issues in our surrounding built environments and explain how these can be mitigated by landscape architectural design interventions using an interdisciplinary lens. The module will also expand on the development of graphical communication skills, including model making.
