7th International Building Physics Conference (IBPC 2018): Outstanding Paper Award

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) PhD candidates Zhiang Zhang and Chenlu Zhang, and Professor Lam Khee Poh, recently received an Outstanding Paper Award at the 7th International Building Physics Conference (IBPC) for their paper entitled “A Deep Reinforcement Learning Method for Model-based Optimal Control of HVAC Systems.” Their research paper was one of only six papers to receive an award out of over 200 peer-reviewed accepted papers at the conference. The event took place on September 23-26, 2018 in Syracuse, New York.
