NUS Architecture Ranks 8th in the World by 2019 QS World University Rankings by Subject

NUS is the only Asian university to gain a position in Quacquarelli Symonds’ (QS) list of 11 best universities worldwide, with 9 subjects attaining a top-10 ranking in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019.

The list of subjects where NUS is ranked among the top 10 is as follows:

The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s top universities by subject area. The 2019 edition covered 1,200 universities across 78 countries.

Mr Ben Sowter, Director of Research at QS, said: “Singapore has long been Asia’s most successful higher education system in our rankings, but there is some evidence that its ascendancy may be beginning to increase further.”

While China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan saw their number of top-10 and top-20 places increase, he noted that Singapore is the only major Asian higher education system to “record consistent improvements”.
