Established in 1959, the Department of Architecture enjoys a world-class reputation for its research and teaching in architecture and related disciplines.  It runs highly successful and competitive professional education programmes ranging from architecture to landscape architecture, urban planning and design, architecture conservation, and integrated sustainable design.  Housed in the College of Design and Engineering, the Department of Architecture is dedicated to building a community that fully includes students, designers, researchers, and scholars whose excellence depends on the breadth of their perspectives and who are committed to working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment.
