Two days will be dedicated to mass timber construction for both aspiring professionals and experts. Including a comprehensive program of speeches and case studies to discover, keep up with all the latest developments and unique networking opportunities.

TARGET

This seminar is for designers, architects, structural engineers and timber construction enthusiasts seeking to create and build significant relationships within the sector. A chance to stay updated with the latest construction trends and technologies on the market.

CONTENT AND NEW FOCUS

The timber sector is in constant and fast growth. There are always new technical solutions to respond to the market requests. In the seminar we will concentrate on 3 different sessions: vision and challenges, construction and finance, envelopes and connections. After each session there will be a discussion among the speakers and participants of the seminar. The main topics are going to be the challenges and potential of Mass Engineered Timber (MET) in tropical regions, the management of building sites and design challenges, the use of innovative timber structural materials, the innovative connections, the durability, waterproofing and airtightness. Finally, we will talk about the financial advantages of timber and the sustainability. There will be plenty of opportunities to address and discuss the future of timber construction as well as a tour of real timber building sites in the area with the transport and organisation included in the price (participation is not mandatory, confirmed only if there are enough subscriptions)
