Rudi Stouffs elected as President of CAADRIA

Associate Professor Rudi Stouffs, from the NUS Department of Architecture and also serving as Assistant Dean (Research) at the College of Design and Engineering, has recently been elected as the President of The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA) at the CAADRIA conference held at SUTD, Singapore. His term will span a period of two years, from 2024 to 2026. Its president is elected by the membership every two years from among (self-)nominated candidates who have spent at least four years supporting the association as an officer (part of its Executive Council).

CAADRIA promotes teaching and research in CAAD in Asia, and has members on six continents. The annual conference, which had its inaugural edition was held in 1996 in Hong Kong. The NUS Department of Architecture had the privilege of organising the conferences in both 2000 and 2013.
