The NUS Department of Architecture (DOA) students have achieved an impressive feat by securing all Outstanding Student Projects at the Singapore Institute of Planners Planning Awards 2023. You can find the announcement for this prestigious award here.

The 8th Planning Award ceremony, organized by the Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP), took place on 22 September, 2023. It is with great pride that we announce the exceptional achievements of the students from the NUS Department of Architecture (DOA). These talented individuals secured all the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Special Mention Awards in the Outstanding Student Projects Category. We applaud the remarkable success of the students from the Master of Arts in Urban Design (MAUD) and Master of Urban Planning (MUP) Programmes for their outstanding accomplishments.

Earlier this year, the MAUD studios had the privilege of participating in the Global Student Summit at the UIA World Congress of Architects, which took place in Copenhagen from 2 to 6 July 2023. This prestigious international event provided an excellent platform for MAUD students and faculty members to showcase and exhibit their projects from the MAUD studios. Additionally, they actively contributed to a range of workshops and discussions, collaborating with 23 other universities from around the world. It is worth noting that the projects presented during this event were the very same projects that have now received the esteemed awards from SIP.

We are delighted to present a few snapshots of these exceptional award-winning projects.
