LA4001 DESIGN 7 / LA4008 DESIGN 7a SPECIALISATION a – SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL DESIGN

The studio applies fundamental knowledge in urban ecology, socio-cultural studies, and relevant sciences as a core design approach. Students continue to develop their ability to translate acquired information (through literature reviews and expert inputs, community surveys, GIS analysis, etc.) into spatial forms using an evidence based design approach. Systemic design development processes are combined with various technical competencies to produce landscape solutions that address the urgent environmental challenges of our time.
