LAD3001 Design 5

This course continues to hone students’ level of competence in design skills by leveraging the knowledge gained in previous studios and enhancing it with advanced landscape architecture tools and techniques. The specific focuses of this design studio module are 1) Site survey and data capture using advanced tools; 2) Landscape analysis using point clouds and UAV imagery; 3) Landscape design with parametric tools; 4) Advanced landscape visualization and representation. Starting with reality capture techniques, students are challenged to use parametric and Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools and 3D representations that showcase an enhanced spatial clarity in their design proposals.
