David J.K. Lim Bursary for Architecture | BA (Arch) | Associate Professor David J.K Lim was the University’s longest serving design educators until his retirement from his role as Associate Professor in 1986. Under his watch, generations of architects were schooled and graduated with in-depth knowledge of contextual and environmental design.
To commemorate the life in architectural education of his late father, Mr Andrew Lim has pledged a gift to NUS Department of Architecture of the School of Design and Environment in support of a bursary for Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) students. The bursary will be awarded to students in the Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) Programme, subject to the availability of funds or spending limit available every year and is tenable for one (1) year. |
Lee Kip Lin Bursary

BA (Arch) | The Lee Kip Lin Bursary is established by Mrs. Lee Li Ming to commemorate the life of her late husband, Associate Professor Lee Kip Lin in architectural education. Associate Professor Lee Kip Lin was an influential teacher in the Department of Architecture where he taught for five years between 1976 and 1984 and as an intrepid and independent scholar of architectural and urban history of Singapore.
2 bursaries, each valued at $7,500 will be awarded in each academic year, starting AY2013/14. Applicants should be full-time undergraduates reading the BA (Architecture) programme and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee. |
